Privacy Policy
Voffer is made by Calecute Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Voffer Android and iOS apps and this website. For India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the information described here. Contact: info@calecutech.com.
In short
- You sign up with an email address and password. We keep your email, display name and whether you're a customer or a shop.
- Your location is used to find offers near you. It is not stored.
- Shops' names, addresses, phones and offers are public. Customers' follows are private.
- Voffer handles no payments. You pay the shop in person.
- No ads, no selling of data, no third-party tracking.
1. What we collect

Not collected: your contacts, call logs, SMS, location history, advertising IDs, or any payment details. The camera is used only while scanning a code or taking a photo.
2. Permissions
- Location: to show offers near you, and for firms to pin their shop.
- Camera: for firms to photograph offers and scan customers' order codes.
- Photos: to choose an offer photo or shop logo.
- Notifications: alerts from shops you follow.
3. How we use it
- To show offers, take reservations and let shops redeem them.
- To send alerts from shops you follow.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use your data to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers below, each processing data for us under its own privacy terms. We share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.
- Supabase: our database, sign-in, image storage and alert sending (privacy policy)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): delivering push notifications (privacy policy)
- OpenStreetMap: map tiles (privacy policy)
5. What other users can see
Anyone using Voffer can see a shop's name, address, phone, hours, logo, offers and follower count. A shop sees the name on each order placed with it. Nobody can see which shops you follow.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. Order records are kept for 3 years so shops and customers can settle disputes, then deleted. Everything else goes when you delete your account.
7. Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Database rules let each user read and change only their own private data. Each redemption code works once, and only at the shop that sold the order.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to info@calecutech.com. We reply within 30 days. To delete your account, see Delete your account. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Children
Voffer is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
