These terms are an agreement between you and Calecute Technologies LLC ("we") for using FPO (Farm Connect). By using FPO (Farm Connect) you accept them.
1. What FPO (Farm Connect) is
FPO (Farm Connect) is a digital mall where farmers and farmer producer organisations open shops, list produce, and buyers order it. The seller sets the price and is responsible for the produce: its quality, quantity, and handover. Agricultural officers on the help desk give general guidance, not professional advice for which we are responsible.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or over. Give true details about yourself, your farm and your organisation, and keep your Google account secure.
3. Selling
- List only produce you have, at the quantity and quality you describe, with a real photo.
- Follow food-safety and agricultural laws that apply to what you sell.
- Hand over what a buyer has paid for, as agreed.
4. Farmer shops
- Your shop, your responsibility. If you open a shop, you are the seller and are responsible for everything you list in it, and for its accuracy, quality and legality. Your shop name, description and photo must be true and must belong to you.
- Your prices. You set the prices in your shop. We do not set or recommend prices.
- Prohibited items. Do not list pesticides or other agrochemicals whose sale is restricted by law, live animals, or anything that is illegal to sell.
- Public pages. Your shop page, including the contact phone you show on it, can be seen by every user of FPO (Farm Connect).
- Enforcement. We may hide or close a shop, or remove listings from it, if it breaks these terms or the law, or if buyers report it and we find the report justified.
5. Buying and payment
When you request stock it is held for 15 minutes while you pay through Razorpay. If you don't pay in time, the hold lapses and you can cancel the request. If your payment arrives after the stock has gone, it is refunded in full automatically. For any other problem with an order, contact the seller first and then us; we will help resolve it and refund where the seller cannot deliver.
6. Community
Be respectful in events and on the help desk. No spam, false information, or abuse. We may remove posts and suspend accounts that break these terms.
7. Liability
FPO (Farm Connect) is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the produce sold, or for losses from dealings between users, beyond refunding money we collected for an order that was not fulfilled.
8. Ending, changes and law
You can delete your account at any time; this also deletes your shop and its listings. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kozhikode, Kerala have jurisdiction. Questions: info@calecutech.com.
