FPO (Farm Connect) is made by Calecute Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the FPO (Farm Connect) Android app and this website. For India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the information described here. Contact: info@calecutech.com.
In short
- You sign in with Google. We keep your name, email and photo from Google, plus the phone, district and farm details you add.
- If you open a shop, its name, description, photo, district and contact phone are shown on a shop page that other users can see.
- Listings, events and help-desk answers you post can be seen by other users.
- Payments go through Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- On the website, your location is used once to find your district, and only the district is kept.
- No ads, no selling of data, no third-party tracking.
1. What we collect

Not collected: your contacts, call logs, SMS, precise location history, advertising IDs, or card, UPI or bank details. We never receive your Google password.
2. Permissions
- Internet: to load and post listings and shops.
- Camera and photos (through your phone's own picker, only when you add a photo): to attach a picture to a listing or to your shop.
- On the website, your browser may ask for location and microphone, only when you tap the district or voice buttons.
3. How we use it
- To show listings and farmers' shops, take orders and connect buyers with sellers.
- To let officers answer farmers' questions.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use your data to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers below, each processing data for us under its own privacy terms. We share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.
- Google Sign-In: signing you in (privacy policy)
- Razorpay: taking payments and refunds (privacy policy)
- Vercel: hosting the service and storing listing and shop photos (privacy policy)
- Neon: our database (privacy policy)
- Anthropic: turning a spoken listing into form fields (privacy policy)
- Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap: turning a location into a district (privacy policy)
5. What other users can see
Other users can see your name, photo, district, organisation and the listings, events and help-desk posts you make. A buyer and seller see each other's contact details for an order between them.
Shop pages are public to other users. If you open a shop, everyone using FPO can see its name, description, photo or banner, district, the contact phone you show there, and the listings in it. Listing and shop photos are stored at public web addresses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data, including your shop, while your account is open. Records of paid orders and payments are kept for 8 years because Indian tax law requires it; when you delete your account, your name and contact details are removed from them. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account.
7. Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Your app sign-in token is kept in your phone's secure storage. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to info@calecutech.com. We reply within 30 days. You can delete your account yourself in the app or on the web at Profile > Delete account; see Delete your account. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Children
FPO (Farm Connect) is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
