This policy explains what the Bhagavatham Wallpapers Android app ("the app"), published by Calecutech, does with your information. In short: the app does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data.
Information we collect
None. The app has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash-reporting service. It does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal information.
Information kept on your phone
The app saves a few settings on your phone only: the day you started, your chosen language, whether the story text is shown, whether the wallpaper goes on the home screen, lock screen or both, and the last day the wallpaper was changed. These never leave your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Internet use
The paintings and stories are included in the app. The app may connect to Wikimedia Commons (commons.wikimedia.org and upload.wikimedia.org) only to download a painting that is not included in the app. That request contains no personal information, but like any web request it reveals your IP address to Wikimedia; see the Wikimedia privacy policy. When you tap a "source" link, it opens in your web browser.
Permissions
- Set wallpaper: to change your wallpaper.
- Run at startup: so the daily change keeps working after the phone restarts.
- Internet: only for the painting downloads described above.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
